What happens when the trial ends
You keep everything you entered. All of it, readable, exportable, indefinitely.
If you add three hundred items during the trial and decide not to subscribe, those three hundred items stay in your inventory and you can still produce a PDF of them. What pauses is adding beyond the free limit, cloud backup, and smart scan.
Locking someone out of records they spent a weekend building would be indefensible for any app, and particularly for one whose entire purpose is being there when something has gone wrong.
Why a subscription at all
A fair question, and the honest answer is that two parts of this genuinely cost money every month.
Smart scan runs on hardware we pay for per use. And the reminders — warranty expiries, maintenance due dates — are the part that keeps working long after the inventory is finished. A one-time purchase pays for a one-time product; this one has to still be right in three years, when it matters.
